Students are given admission in UNN based on 3 criteria laid out by the Federal Government in other to carry all states along.

  •  Merit (when you score or perform  high in UNN Post UTME Exam, with this you are 100% sure of gaining admission ) 
  • Locality: students from state within the school locality or area. Geographical and socio-cultural areas contiguous to the institution
  • ELDS: Educational less developed states.(Adamawa, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross river, Ebonyi, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Kastina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara,  Nasarawa, Niger,  Plateau, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe, Zamfara)

Niger Delta Progressives Alliance (NDPA) have told president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, not to test the determination of the youth to violently resist further dominance of the peoples’ interests.
