Niger Delta Progressives Alliance (NDPA) have told president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, not to test the determination of the youth to violently resist further dominance of the peoples’ interests.   Vice-President Namadi Sambo and INEC Chairman, Attahiru Jega, were some of the dignitaries that attended the funeral prayers offered for Chief Imam of Abuja National Mosque, Musa Muhammad, on Sunday, May 3. The late Chief Imam died on Saturday evening, May 2, at the National Hospital Abuja where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment. According to The News Agency of Nigeria, the burial, which was conducted under tight security, was attended by several dignitaries including, Minister of FCT, Bala Mohammed and former secretary to the government of the federation, Yayale Ahmed. Others were former deputy Senate President, Ibrahim Mantu; ex-governor Adamu Aleiro, and Senator Ali Ndume. Speaking to Journalists after the burial, Mantu expressed shock over the incident. He said: “When I got the news yesterday, I was shocked but I know that life was in the hands of God and Allah can take one’s at anytime He so wish because He is the custodian of life.”
